The format of the book is attractive and inviting, highlighting important ideas, stimulating questions ("catch the drift?") with review of these questions to the reader and allow introspection regrets to fix realistic expectations to help and the restructuring of wholeness. A number of issues, with the title "Below the Surface" help the reader data set and see their progress as the result of reading and the principles from the story taken from.

With personal experiences and stories from the life of the other samples, that Cooke important lessons details, that will help the reader the pitfalls and experienced to avoid so many unnecessary grief. Shea stressed the need, personal responsibility for the results of the error in the judgment and the important plays seeking forgiveness freedom and healing.

Personally, I appreciate the wealth of additional resources for future further reading about the movies that is given after each chapter. Cooke writes with a warmth that is encouraging. I enjoyed their meaning use of subtle humor. and promote their examples and illustrations found.

"The single parent guide to love, dating and relationships" is an excellent resource for pastors as laymen and professional counselors. It is an excellent guide for anyone faced with the challenge of the "single parent."
