What Makes a Guy Fall in Love? What to Do to Capture His Heart

Do you wonder if there are specific things that cause a man to fall in love beside chemistry? Are you involved in a relationship that seems stuck? Do you understand the stages of love? Can you identify where you are in the process? The answers to these questions can help you determine if you are on the right track to making a guy fall in love.

What are the stages of love?

Physical Attraction

Most of us understand that love typically begins with physical attraction. And unfortunately, this is where many of us get stuck when seeking out new relationships. First, there are the women who rely solely on their sex appeal. These women usually have no problem attracting the attention of men, but they often find themselves in multiple relationships within short periods of time that never really go anywhere.

Second, there are the women at the other end of the spectrum who don't believe they have any sex appeal at all. These women often have trouble getting past a casual conversation with a man because they typically take themselves too seriously and come across as insecure.

Like most things in life, falling somewhere in the middle of the two extremes is ideal. We all know plenty of average people who are involved in amazing, loving, committed relationships. How do they do it? They are realistic about the importance of physical attraction. They know it's important, but they also know that it won't sustain a relationship for the long term. They managed to move from lust through the other stages of love. If you can get past lust, you are well on your way to making a guy fall in love.

Interest

Interest follows right on the heels of physical attraction. This is where your personality and intrigue come into play. During this phase a man cannot stop wondering about you, and he will do everything he can to get to know you better. In this stage it is important to give him the information he desires, but only a little bit at a time and in a very playful way. This is not the time to share things like family drama, medical issues, emotional hang ups, past hurts, and negative attitudes.

During the interest phase, many women make the mistake of sharing too much too soon. They also tend to start thinking about the future after only a few dates. Resist doing either one. There is a lot you don't know about this guy. During the interest phase, you should ask a lot of questions to find out how a man thinks about life and love. You are evaluating your potential compatibility. You need to ask questions in such a way that they come across as just being curious rather than feeling like an interrogation. Tell him you read an interesting book about relationships, point out a fact or snippet from the book, and ask him what he thinks about it. He won't feel pressured if you are speaking in generalities.

Bonding

Bonding is when two people begin to establish a relationship of trust and intimacy. You begin sharing more of your personality, goals, values, and ambitions. The mistake women most often make here is getting impatient and pushing for some type of commitment. It is important to know that when men get to this stage, they really start to pay attention to the details. They are emotionally invested, but not to the degree you may think. This is also when women tend to get clingy. If they sense any hesitancy on the man's part, they will begin to worry that something is wrong and start trying to force a man in the direction they want things to go. Instead, focus on ways to enhance your life and improve yourself. Once you are at this stage, let your guy set the pace for moving the relationship to a committed level.

There is no set time-frame for going from physical attraction to making a guy fall in love. It will be different in every situation. The first two stages usually move along at a faster pace than the third one does.

A heart in love - the great equalizer

In preparation for my book, writing women, self-esteem and relationships, I spoke with a lot of people. I've heard their stories, it became clear that the one thing we all have in common as human beings is our vulnerability to love and matters of the heart.

Whether you are a man or a woman, it is begging someone, at some point, if you bring the power you to your knees, more sweet torture will have. Someone of you the deepest joy and the most horrific pain conceivable feel will result. A person you never thought existed, whom you love and hate at the same time. And on the day that you recognize that you done, you as a fighter for the answer of life love puzzle.

More specifically, the journey are all other travel, you start which, similarly as the road. You feel as if you were in a labyrinth of twists and turns, high and low altitude experience times of mind-numbing boredom and heart pounding surprise including are.

And as I have found out the reasons for your blind trip on the sea of nothing but peace arise directly from your relationship with your beloved one and may include, but are not limited to the following: insecurity, jealousy, language problems, mood fluctuations, misdiagnosing problems, infidelity, lack of mechanical skill and aggravation due to sleep deprivation! In other words, you are crazy to each other.

And, if and as long as you complete the above puzzle, you can use a rather confusing cycle of repetition of the same error with a variety of possible MS or Mr to establish rights. Instead navigate the boat with their feet not you would rather quietly through these rough waters steering, while enjoying the Sun and sipping on champagne on your way back from pleasure Iceland?

Okay, please forgive my overuse of images, but I'm trying to go home a point. We are all capable, loved and we can all hurt. However, by identifying the answers to the most common problems tormented by women and men, we can the playing field to restrict, to nip it in the bud (here I go again) and shorten the distance to happiness if we really really want, for which we so crave.

Because true love not like in the cinema. It is messy and needs hard work and understanding and a sense of humor. It means high heels and passing gas and carpet Burns and tissue sports and unbearable relatives and friends... and goodness and compromise and forgiveness. But at the end of the day, not that all heart wants and needs?

Love, meetings and how to address the heart broken

Heart of everyone will be broken in life. This truth has been reduced to me recently, when the long distance relationship, which I attended started to disintegrate in the reality of mutual commitments and shared responsibilities for children with ex partners became obvious. I am an old father of fifty years of two teens beautiful and difficult. I was fortunately unique for these past 3 years. Earlier this year, I decided it was time to open my heart to the possibility of a loving and conscious relationship. In the weeks that I had found my partner or, more exactly, we found the other. We started our long distance dating which involves a five-hour air travel and settle in the rhythms and time zones.

I will not go into details of the painful separation; Suffice it to say that we have managed to remain friends close and supportive. So that growth and learning was I could glean my recent romance and a heart broken as a mature and, I hope, emotionally intelligent man.

Some time after the initial reaction of flight or the struggle for grief, I was lucky enough to be able to step back and observe the process. I became aware, how, in the past, my strategy to avoid the misery of emotional pain was to go on vacation, launch in a rebound relationship, getting drunk, or reach for the control remote. All rather than face of poverty.

It has been my experience that, in pursuit of pleasure, I spent lot of time ranging from what was painful. Instead of this conditioning I had forgotten the transformative power of permanent what was coming up for me on my emotional horizon.

I decided my ground and told myself; "This time I not moved." If my heart is breaking, let out completely. I am meeting the pain as it is, without the history of what I or that it should have been. "What I discovered that broken heart, it was my heart which is just perfect the way it is. I found the peace and happiness with nothing broken, nothing to correct and lots of room to grow and learn.

The process works

o to allow yourself to go straight to the heart, sense of suffering, rejection or jealousy.

o be grateful for the opportunity to feel the wound because it triggered a catalytic process.

o the memories of all who wrong you, humiliated and rejected you are working their way to the surface. You will begin to relive those memories.

o give you innocently feel any desperation which ruled nothing and allow your heart to be broken more deeply than ever before, without any history of what should be or what he said so.

o stay with him no matter what; something incredible is about to occur.

Found a treasure: the pain becomes a catalyst that creates a transformation. The pain is remodeled, renovated, and surprisingly, the pain is translated in the joy and suffering into happiness.

I remember the poet of the 13th century and the paradox of the of the great mystic Rumi:

"I saw a cup of pain of grief and screamed:" it has a sweet taste, it does not?

"You took me," grief replied: "and you have ruined my business." How can I sell sadness when you know that it is a blessing? »

Grief can be a blessing. the cup of sadness can the sweet taste. It is during times of sorrow, struggle and challenge that we grow the most. The strongest steel is to go by more hot oven. When we allow to come light, darkness has no choice but to leave.

A Heart in Love - The Great Equalizer

In preparing to write my book on women, self-esteem and relationships, I talked to a lot of people. As I listened to their stories, it became clear that the one thing we all have in common as human beings is our vulnerability to love and matters of the heart.

Whether you're a woman or a man, there will be a person, at some point, who will have the power to bring you to your knees, begging for more sweet torture. Someone who will cause you to feel the deepest joy and the most horrific pain imaginable. A person whom you never thought existed, whom you will love and hate simultaneously. And on the day you realize this has happened to you, you will become a hunter for the answers to life's love puzzle.

More specifically, the journey you embark on will be much like the road everyone else travels. You will feel as though you are in a maze of twists and turns, experiencing high and low altitudes, including times of both mind-numbing boredom and heart pounding surprise.

And as I have found, the reasons for your blind voyage on the Sea of Anything but Tranquility will stem directly from your relationship with your beloved and may include, but are not limited to, the following: insecurity, jealousy, language problems, mood fluctuations, misdiagnosing of problems, infidelity, lack of mechanical skill, and aggravation due to sleep deprivation! In other words, you'll drive each other crazy.

And unless and until you complete the aforesaid puzzle, you may enter into a rather dizzying cycle of repeating the same mistakes with a variety of potential Ms. or Mr. Rights. Instead, wouldn't you rather navigate calmly through these rough waters, steering the boat with your feet, while enjoying the sun and sipping on Champagne on your way back from Pleasure Island?

Okay, please forgive my overuse of imagery, but I am trying to drive home a point. We are all capable of being loved and we are all capable of being hurt. However, by identifying the answers to the most common problems agonized over by both women and men, we may narrow the playing field, nip it in the bud, (here I go again) and shorten the distance to happiness if we indeed really want that for which we so deeply yearn.

Because true love is not like the movies. It's messy and takes hard work and understanding and a sense of humor. It means high heels and passing gas and rug burns and tissues and sports and insufferable relatives and friends... and kindness and compromise and forgiveness. But at the end of the day, isn't that all any heart wants and needs?
